HILLSIDE'S CHILDREN NEED FRIENDS LIKE YOU
Please assist Hillside in turning around a child's life by making a generous donation today. Your support will make a difference. You can help break the cycle of mental illness - life in and out of institutions - and possible homelessness and crime. Your financial support has a far greater impact than you may realize. With intervention, these children may return to the community and live healthier, more productive lives.
Since 1888, Hillside has served those most in need. The support of our community has always played an important role in our success. Today we provide low-cost, high-quality psychiatric treatment to many of our community's severely emotionally disturbed youth and their families, who otherwise could not afford psychiatric care. Help us continue this invaluable work by making a gift to Hillside.
HOW YOUR GIFT IS USED
While funding from the State of Georgia and United Way covers Hillside's basic operational costs, with the support of the community we can provide for many special needs:
Ø
Vocational training to teach work and life skills needed to live independently
Ø
Transportation for visiting family members
Ø
Outings that broaden cultural understanding and enhance academic subjects
Ø
School projects and educational resources
Ø
Transition services for the youth and their family
Ø
Many creative programs that enhance traditional therapy
Each young person in our care has unique problems as well as unique strengths, interests and abilities. Your support will help remove the barriers from finding exactly the right combination of approaches needed for the individual to succeed and gain independence.
Hillside is a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. Your contribution is fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
